Google’s Right To Be Forgotten Form Now Live

May 30, 2014

In holding up to the recent EU ruling that search engines are to be accountable for content that is “inadequate, irrelevant or no longer relevant, or excessive in relation to the purposes for which they were processed”, Google is doing its part.

In order to make the removal request easier for those who feel there is content about them in Google’s search results that is inadequate, irrelevant or no longer relevant, Google has posted a search removal request form.

This removal form can be found here

People will need a copy of a valid form of photo ID in order to request content removal from Google and this is of course limited to individuals who reside in the European Union.
